Hey there, welcome back .. looks like you enjoy learning more about making a full time income online from home? My Daily Insights Newsletter Will Give You Some Great Ideas. Enjoy!

business_celebrate_qx_2008_06_09_meSometimes you can get carried away with tools and strategies for traffic generation to your website and forget the fundamentals that you actually need a website first before you can start driving traffic to it.

There are a variety of free HTML webpage builders, including NVU and of course most computers come complete with Microsoft Front Page – which is the first one I used when I did not know of anything else.

You also tend to stick with the “one that you know how to use” for a while before looking for something better. The first set up I had was a domain name registered at 123 Reg in the UK (because that’s where I was right?), hosting with the 123 server service at a price point that I now know was ridiculously too high and then I frequently fought a battle to upload my HTML web pages TO the server using Filezila as my FTP service.

Thankfully the online world moves swiftly to find solutions and software that can help and you can get some great value websites services like Weebly.com and my current favourite Bluevoda which makes the whole process so much simpler and easier to set yourself up in a matter of hours, including hosting and it does away with the FTP process you simply “publish” directly to the web

Adding pictures & video is just as easy and you can use your own creative talents to make it all look professional and attractive. You can of course outsource this process to places like Elance.Com but if you want to become a professional online marketer online you really should take the time to learn how to do this yourself unless you have very deep pockets. Part of marketing online is all about testing and measuring, split testing headlines and sub-headlines to increase your conversions without taking the time to learn thsi all yourself you are never going to be really in control of your business.

If you have been marketing a replicated website for any length of time on the search engines you will have had to make changes to your approach since the infamous Google slap of last year. The simple fact is that if you are serious about marketing online as a full time career you really should try and learn the basic skills required when it comes to creating simple websites and landing pages and blogging.

If you just take the time to learn this now, in less than three months time you will wonder why on earth you even thought that outsourcing this sort of task was a good idea.
