Hey there, welcome back .. looks like you enjoy learning more about making a full time income online from home? My Daily Insights Newsletter Will Give You Some Great Ideas. Enjoy!
I have been following the Darren Hardy (Publisher of Success Magazine) Success Principles Course since the beginning of the New Year and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to fill in those gaps in your personal development and dig deeper into what really is keeping you from reaching your goals.
We are all aware of the importance of setting goals, visualisation and the need to take action on a consistent and persistent basis, but the most recent post from Darren Hardy really strikes a chord with me as being probably the most important success tip you will ever learn.
As a new entrepreneur you will tend to see how to innovate before you have barely begun your business. I suspect you can see clearly exactly how having 1000’s in your down line will provide you with $ XYZ dollars and then you can live your life giving back and spending quality time with your family. It is that vision that gets you excited and gets you started.
However one the biggest hurdles to overcome is expecting to see results before you possibly can in your business and it is one of the major reasons people fall out of that initial excitement phase and quit the business they started, only to turn to the next “biggest thing” that comes their way that promises even faster “results” that cannot happen any faster than the previous ones.
One of my favourite motivational videos is the Lead Out Loud video, which I believe not only personifies leadership, but is extremely good at visually and graphically feeding your mind with success tips all the way through it in a very memorable way.
One of the quotes in the video refers to “Don’t ever give up – success seems to be largely hanging on after others have let go” and this post of Darren Hardy’s really breaks this quote down further.
He quotesZig Ziglar’shand pumped water well analogy and demonstrates that real success is more to do with having a long term vision and consistently applying yourself to the process in hand than starting out the gates likes a greyhound after a hare and expecting it to stay that way. It goes on to conclude “If you continue to pump, eventually, you will get a full and steady stream of water. Congratulations, success!”
I recently heard a great quote from Daegan Smith , whose Maximum Leverage course is another I highly recommend by the way who described one of the biggest mindset shifts people have to make is the shift between working ten hours on “a task” and being paid for those ten hours as an employee and putting in “ten hours” on “ a task” as an entrepreneur without any guarantee of getting paid in the short term, medium term or long term for you efforts, business success usually comes after failing .. a lot!
As they say, there are no short cuts to successand although there has never been more opportunity than now to make a very desirable income online remember the stories of the Hare and The Tortoise and Zig Ziglar’s Water Pump story when results aren’t showing as quickly as you would like – you may not come out of the gates as fast as some, but if you work towards the long term, hang in there through the phase of your business that seems like you are going nowhere, celebrate every success no matter how small and above all “Don’t ever give up – success really is hanging on after others have let go“.

This course has been great! By any chance, do you have files for all of the worksheets? I can’t seem to download them? Thanks!
Hi there .. the worksheet links are at the bottom of the emails once you have subscribed to the series on Darren’s website.
You will need ADOBE but you simply click the link & it opens in a new window – just save to your desktop & you are done. Just make sure you have subscribed for the email series – they are only available when you have done that.
Hope that helps
Kind regards Diane
PS Glad you enjoyed my recommendation!
